Client Background: Simply Wireless is a national wireless retailer specializing in the sales, distribution, and fulfillment of wireless devices and services through proprietary sales channels and major retailers including the Home Shopping Network.
Challenge: Acknowledging their mature position in the marketplace, Simply Wireless is always looking for ways to differentiate their service offerings from competitors. Investing in initiatives that leverage their established IT infrastructure is a priority, and their goal is to better deliver value to their largest clients and build innovative, scalable solutions that can be rolled out to new market segments.
Solution: In collaboration with Simply Wireless, carrier partner Sprint, and a leading digital document transaction manager, we gave Home Shopping Network customers the ability to execute Sprint contracts from the comfort of their own homes by developing an e-commerce workflow and mobile friendly user interface that ensured all parties involved had the information needed to execute contracts and activate service to the purchased devices.
As a result of our collective efforts, Simply Wireless and Sprint successfully fulfilled over 1,000 contract phone orders in just 7 minutes of live on-air time. This was the first contract phone offering in the history of the Home Shopping Network.
